As Information Officer I coordinated internal and external communications for the Wawa District of the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR).

As a public relations agent I sought to improve the image and increase the profile of the organization by keeping the public informed of how resource management issues were being addressed, by:

Resource Technician

Dates of Employment: May 27th, 1991 to August 16th, 1991.

Administered a survey of tourists using the main forest access roads throughout the Wawa District. The survey was conducted in cooperation with the Centre for Northern Forest Ecosystem Research in Thunder Bay to obtain a broad range of public opinion on outdoor recreation to assist the Ministry of Natural Resources in forest management decisions.
